Abstract
Background: Medication non-adherence is common among individuals at ultra-high risk for psychosis. This study examines whether non-adherence independently predicts transition to full psychosis. Methods: A prospective cohort of ultra-high-risk individuals was followed over 24 months. Results: Non-adherent individuals showed a significantly higher rate of transition to psychosis. Conclusion: Adherence support should be prioritized in early intervention services.
