8 Minutes or Else: Bengaluru Airport Turns Pick-Up Lane into a High-Speed Drop Zone

From December 8, Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport will start charging private vehicles that remain in arrival pick‑up lanes for more than eight minutes. Cars will pay ₹150 for 8–13 minutes and ₹300 for 13–18 minutes, with overstays beyond 18 minutes facing towing and fines, as BIAL targets chronic congestion.
