Bengaluru-based wealthtech platform Stable Money has raised $20 million (₹173 crore) in a Series B funding round led by Nandan Nilekani’s Fundamentum Partnership, with participation from Aditya Birla Ventures and existing investors Z47, RTP Global, and Lightspeed. The announcement marks a significant milestone for the startup, coming just 10 months after its $15 million Series A round.
Founded in 2022 by Saurabh Jain and Harish Reddy, Stable Money has rapidly positioned itself as a leading digital platform for fixed-income investments, including fixed deposits (FDs), bonds, and secured credit cards. The company currently partners with eight banks and two NBFCs, and boasts over 2 million registered users and assets under management exceeding ₹3,000 crore.
The fresh capital will be deployed to expand Stable Money’s suite of wealth products, deepen its network of banking and NBFC partners—targeting at least eight new partnerships in 2025—and accelerate distribution, especially in Tier-II and Tier-III cities. The leadership is also piloting new offerings such as debt and gold mutual funds, and loans against FDs, aiming to make fixed-income options more accessible and appealing to first-time and conservative investors.
Co-founders Saurabh Jain and Harish Reddy highlighted that this investment is a strong vote of confidence in their mission to deliver predictable, inflation-beating returns to Indian households. The round also underscores growing investor interest in digitizing traditional savings products for India’s vast base of risk-averse savers.
Despite being in the pre-revenue stage, Stable Money’s rapid growth and focus on underserved markets have resonated with both users and investors, positioning the company for further expansion in the evolving wealthtech landscape.
