Vodafone Idea (Vi) has officially launched its 5G services across four major cities in Gujarat—Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Surat, and Vadodara—marking a significant milestone in its nationwide rollout. The expansion is part of Vi’s broader strategy to establish a robust 5G footprint across 23 cities in its 17 priority circles, where it holds spectrum rights. With this launch, Vi aims to deliver high-speed connectivity, enhanced user experiences, and future-ready infrastructure to one of India’s most economically vibrant states.

- The rollout is supported by partnerships with Nokia and Ericsson, ensuring advanced, energy-efficient infrastructure

This launch positions Gujarat as a critical node in Vi’s next-generation connectivity roadmap.

- Vi has added more than 1,500 new sites across Gujarat since April 2024, resulting in a 35 percent increase in network capacity

These enhancements reflect Vi’s commitment to delivering consistent and high-quality service across both urban and rural areas.
