Although rumors hinted at a 240MP camera, the official specs confirm a robust dual-rear setup led by a 50MP wide-angle primary sensor (EIS and OIS supported) and a 2MP macro lens—perfect for dynamic photos and 4K video.

Selfie lovers will appreciate the 16MP front camera tucked into a punch-hole display, capable of crisp portraits and FHD video.

Performance, Storage & Battery Life

Powering the F29 Pro 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, an octa-core performer well-suited for multitasking, gaming, and efficient power management.

The phone comes in several configurations: 8GB RAM (expandable via virtual RAM) with 128GB or 256GB storage, and a flagship 12GB+256GB variant.

The headline-grabbing 6000mAh battery delivers exceptional endurance, easily lasting a busy day and powering extended entertainment or gaming sessions.

80W SuperVOOC fast charging recharges the device up to 45% in just 20 minutes, minimizing downtime and ensuring users stay connected on the go.

Build Quality, Design & Durability

The device impresses with a slim 7.6mm profile, weighs only 180g, and upholds a design premium with Granite Black and Marble White color choices.

The F29 Pro 5G is built rugged, boasting full water, dust, and shock resistance with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings—meaning splashes, submersion, or dust storms aren’t a concern for everyday use.

Features such as an in-display fingerprint sensor, Gorilla Glass protection, dual stereo speakers, and AI-powered imaging tools enhance both usability and resilience.

Connectivity & Software Features

As a true next-gen device, the F29 Pro 5G delivers full 5G support, plus fast Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.4, and USB-C connectivity.

ColorOS 15 on top of Android 14 brings a clean interface, regular security updates, and smart convenience features.

There’s no 3.5mm jack or microSD support, but reverse charging and accessories like a protective case are included in the box.

Pricing & Availability

The Oppo F29 Pro 5G is available in India at a starting price of ₹25,999 for the 8GB/128GB model, with higher-tier models priced up to ₹29,999.

Available at leading online and retail outlets including Amazon, Flipkart, and Croma, with special offers expected for early buyers and festive season sales.

Conclusion

The Oppo F29 Pro 5G delivers outstanding value by packing premium specs—high-refresh AMOLED display, marathon battery, rapid charging, 5G performance, and a solid camera—into a durable, stylish package. While the 240MP headline might be marketing hype, the phone itself stands out as a well-rounded choice for budget-conscious and tech-savvy buyers in India’s competitive mid-range segment.
