In a rare turn of events, Deep and Mohit Bajaj, promoters of women hygiene brand Sirona, have re-acquired their company from the Good Glamm Group. The deal, which is worth around ₹150-180 crore, will help the Good Glamm Group settle its debt.
Sirona had PeeBuddy, period cramp patches using herbs, and menstrual cups. The founders had sold Sirona to the Good Glamm Group for an all-cash deal of ₹450 crore in October 2024. However, the founders felt it was the best decision to take back the brand following Good Glamm's changing priorities. The buyback is significantly funded by the founders' own funds.
The Good Glamm Group, which has been facing financial struggles, had acquired Sirona in 2022.
