Kolhapur, Maharashtra (416205), has officially lifted the suspension of operations as of August 13, 2025. After several months of being offline due to operational setbacks, the company is now steering towards full production capacity, marking a significant turning point for both the local textile sector and Nagreeka's national footprint.

This reopening is a crucial step in restoring normalcy and ramping up production to meet both domestic and export demands.

Key Developments

Reason for Closure: Operations were suspended in early 2025 due to unspecified operational issues, but recovery protocols and process improvements have now been put in place to address these challenges.

Transition to Normalcy: Management has initiated a robust plan to restore normal operations, with emphasis on workforce mobilization, equipment re-commissioning, and establishing efficient supply chain practices.

Operational Progress

Nagreeka’s leadership has coordinated a phased restart strategy:

Sectoral Relevance

Cotton yarn exports represent a critical sector in Maharashtra’s agrarian landscape. Nagreeka Exports Limited, with its core business in spinning, stands as a key player in this domain. The operational stability of the Yavluj site is not just vital for the company’s commercial objectives, but also for sustaining the reputation of Indian yarn in international markets.

Monitor output quality and respond proactively to any operational hiccups.

Engage in continued dialogue with employment unions and regional authorities to safeguard worker interests.

Resume regular shipments to both domestic and overseas clients, aiming for full-scale operations before the end of the quarter.
